Connect your AI to Fortnox

Fjordova for Fortnox is live. Connect your company yourself today, or leave your details for assisted onboarding.

Four steps, one connection. Steps 1–2 take place in the same Fjordova hub flow.

1. Connect Fortnox and sign in

Live

Start the connection in Fjordova and sign in with your own Fortnox account.

Connect Fortnox and sign in

Sign in with Fortnox, approve the terms, choose modules. After sign-in, My account shows the connection steps for your AI: a one-click button for Claude, buttons for Cursor, VS Code and LM Studio, commands for Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex and Windsurf, and the address for any other MCP app.

Other accounting systems and their status

2. Approve agreements and choose access

In the same hub flow, approve the terms and data processing agreement as an authorised company representative, then choose modules and access. Complete these choices before setting up your AI.

Agreement approval and module choices happen in the hub, not on this website.

3. Connect your AI

After completing the company’s approval and access choices, open the signed-in guide in My account for the current install buttons, commands and connection address.

Open signed-in AI guide

Claude and ChatGPT tested on a Fortnox test company. Copilot Studio, Mistral Vibe and Grok tested with demo data. Guides for other apps are not equivalent test evidence. Any MCP-compatible app can connect.

4. Ask your first question

Once connected, ask in plain language. Available answers depend on the modules you selected and your Fortnox permissions. Example questions:

“Which customer invoices are overdue, and what is the total amount?”
“Which supplier invoices are due this week?”
“Has Byggbolaget AB paid its invoices?”
Your AI can read, and can propose changes. Changes are proposals first: preview → confirmation under company settings → execution → result. The company must enable changes, and the AI connection needs write access. In My account, choose AI app confirmation, own-page confirmation for irreversible changes, or own-page confirmation for every change. In AI app mode, Fjordova verifies the technical confirmation call, not what was said in the chat. Access follows the permissions granted to the connection.

Troubleshooting

The exact connection steps for your AI are shown in My account after sign-in: https://mcp.fjordova.ai/konto/koppla. Check that the address exactly matches the one shown there and ends with /mcp.

Good to know

You sign in with Fortnox

The connection flow redirects you to Fortnox to authenticate with your own account. Enter your Fortnox password only on the official Fortnox sign-in page.

Tool permission and change confirmation are separate

AI apps can ask for tool permission, with options such as “Allow once” or “Always allow”. In AI app confirmation mode, the app is instructed to display the preview and obtain yes before a separate confirmation tool call. Fjordova does not read the chat or verify that the person saw the preview or said yes. Covered actions at stricter levels use Fjordova’s page after Fortnox login; a short session can cover several approvals. There is no general undo function.

Remove the connection

Revoke on your account page, https://mcp.fjordova.ai/konto, or in your AI app. In Fortnox you can also remove the app under integrations. Questions: support@fjordova.com.

Processing and temporary encrypted storage

Reads pass through working memory to your selected AI under your separate provider agreement, without a separate accounting, payroll or document archive. Change input, previews and execution results are temporarily stored encrypted and can contain sensitive data; code can decrypt them. Input and preview are cleared when execution is claimed; results can remain until cleanup. Uncertain writes are not automatically repeated and may delay deletion. Read the retention details in Security and privacy and the service privacy policy. Do not email financial, payroll or document contents to support.
